Yes, you can order errands for a parent or grandparent who lives nearby. Place the order online or by phone with their address and what they need, and we will pick it up and bring it to their door. No app or account is needed, so it is easy for you or for them.

Looking after family takes time, and the weekly errands add up. Here is how people use Bottle Buddeez to help.

What errands can I send for a parent or grandparent?

The usual list includes:

  • Groceries: the weekly basics, or a few top-up items.
  • Pharmacy pickup and everyday basics.
  • Convenience store runs: milk, eggs, bread and pop.
  • Hardware and home: light bulbs, furnace filters and salt for the walkway.
  • Pet food and supplies, if they have a pet.
  • Parcels and returns: drop-offs they cannot easily get to.
  • Custom errands: tell us the store and what they need.

You can see everything on our services page.

Several of these can go on one order. Each additional stop on the same order starts at $4.

How do I order for someone else?

Use the order form or call 289-275-0767.

  • Put their address as the delivery address.
  • List each store and what they need from it.
  • Choose a substitution preference: Call me, Closest match, or Skip it.
  • Choose As soon as possible, or Schedule a time that suits them.
  • In the notes, tell us anything that helps at their door.

Dispatch, a real person, calls every online order to confirm the details and give you an approximate delivery time. Put your own phone number in the notes too, so we can reach you if there is a question.

What notes help at the door?

A few details make the visit easier for everyone:

  • Who will answer, and their name.
  • Which door to use.
  • Whether to knock or ring, and to allow a little time to get to the door.
  • Any pets that might greet us.
  • A phone number for whoever should get the call if we have a question at the store.

Can my parent order for themselves?

Absolutely. There is no app to download and no account to set up, so they can simply call 289-275-0767 and read us their list. A real person picks up and writes it down. For many people that is simpler than any website.

What about substitutions? If you are ordering for someone else, think about who should decide when something is out of stock. If they are particular about a brand, choose Call me and leave the number of whoever knows their preferences. If they just need the basics, Closest match keeps things simple.

What if the order includes alcohol?

Photo ID is required at the door, and you must be 19 or older to purchase alcohol in Ontario. Make sure whoever will be answering the door knows to have their photo ID ready.

Where do you deliver? We deliver in Ajax and Whitby, where the published delivery fee is $8.99. Brooklin, Oshawa, Courtice and Bowmanville are call for pricing. If you are not sure their address is covered, call before you order.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac debit.

We aim to be friendly, courteous and professional on every visit. Send the list through the order form or call 289-275-0767. We are open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
