How to order delivery from Bottle Buddeez, step by step

How do I get started?

Step 1: Check that we deliver to you. We deliver in Ajax and Whitby, where the published delivery fee is $8.99. Brooklin, Oshawa, Courtice and Bowmanville are call for pricing. If you are not sure your address is covered, call before you order. Our delivery areas page has the full list.

Step 2: Decide what you need and where it comes from. We pick up from a wide range of places:

• The LCBO and The Beer Store
• Grocery stores
• Restaurants, for takeout pickup
• Convenience stores, for ice, pop or mix, milk, eggs and munchies
• Pharmacies, for pickup and everyday basics
• Pet stores
• Hardware and home stores, for bulbs, filters and salt
• Parcel and courier drop-offs and returns

Need more than one store? Put them all on the same order. Each additional stop starts at $4.

How do I fill in the order form?

Step 3: List your stores and items. Open the order form and list each store with the items you want from it. The more detail, the better:

• Brand: the one you usually buy.
• Size: 1 litre or 2, 6-pack or 12, large or small.
• Quantity: how many of each.
• Notes: anything we should know, like “ripe bananas, not green” or “the one with the blue label”.

We shop the way you would, so tell us how you would shop.

Step 4: Choose substitutions and timing. The form asks two quick questions.

What should we do if something is not available?

• Call me: we phone you from the store and you decide.
• Closest match: we pick the nearest equivalent.
• Skip it: we leave it off.

When do you want it?

• As soon as possible: we start on it once dispatch has confirmed.
• Schedule a time: pick a time that suits you.

What happens after I send it?

Step 5: Take the confirmation call. Every online order gets a phone call from dispatch. It is a real person, not a robot. They confirm your list, your address and any details, and give you an approximate delivery time. It is also your chance to add the thing you forgot.

Step 6: Be ready at the door. When we arrive, a few things help:

• Photo ID for alcohol. Ontario law requires you to be 19 or older to purchase alcohol, and photo ID is required at the door.
• Payment. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Interac debit.
• A clear path. A porch light and a cleared step help, especially in winter.
